Federal Judge Requires Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services to Pay Planned Parenthood Attorney Fees

Kansas City — Today, U.S. District Judge Nanette Laughrey issued an order granting Planned Parenthood Great Plains (formerly Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri) $156,630.68 in attorney fees and expenses in its successful case against the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS). In the case, Judge Laughrey issued a permanent injunction blocking DHSS from revoking Planned Parenthood’s license to perform abortions in its Columbia health center.

Kansas Won't Cut Medicaid Funding....Yet
