Kansas Monitor - July 3

Dear supporter,

The past few weeks we’ve been celebrating the strength and activism of LGBTQ people at Pride events across our affiliate. In the face of relentless attempts to undo progress and attack LGBTQ people’s health, rights, and lives, we are reaffirming our commitment to building a world where no one experiences discrimination or violence because of their gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation.

We believe that LGBTQ rights and reproductive rights are inextricably linked, and we must recognize that attacks on reproductive health and rights are an attack on all of us.

Finally, after the failed leadership of Gov. Brownback and Gov. Colyer, we are pleased to see the progress Gov. Kelly has already made. On her first day in office, she rolled back discriminatory policies, and her administration continues taking meaningful steps toward protecting the rights of ALL Kansans.

Will you make a commitment to support our advocacy work and protect the range of services that Planned Parenthood provides to patients?
