Today, in a landmark victory, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt, the Center for Reproductive Rights’ (CRR) challenge to abortion restrictions that passed in 2013 as part of Texas HB2. The Court struck down both the admitting privileges and ambulatory surgical center restrictions statewide, protecting current access to abortion in Texas and allowing for expanded access in the future.
